  1. Good old '66 Galaxie. This car looks great in white. The same for Cragars. By the way, this one is a Galaxie 500 7 Litre, so, the side trim on the body is not a chrome part, it's just stamped into the sheetmetal. The only chrome at that place are the 7 Litre emblems on the front fenders. Also, the 7 Litre, was a Galaxie 500 with all the appointments of a Galaxie 500 XL, plus the 428 FE as standard equipment. This engine was a super smooth torque machine, but you could ask for the 427 cubic inch, side oiler mill with dual four barrels, and 425 hp. This was the "R" code V8, and it only came with the four speed top loader. The Galaxie 500 7 Litre was a sporty package, and vinyl tops were not an option on 7 Litres. Many were dealer installed tough. 1966 Ford by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr
  2. Is that a '39 Ford standard I see? Cool!!!
  3. Specially well built. Also love the color.
  4. Thank you sir!!
  5. Very nice. Are the tires from a GT90? they look a lot like them.
  6. Thanks Bill!! Thanks a lot Peter!
  7. I'm not the only one that loves to build the same car. Love those!!
  8. If I could build like this I would be very happy, even with only one done.
  9. Thank you!! My sweetheart is the black '40 Ford V8 Business Coupe AKA a Standard.
  10. Thanks Steve!! Just started the first for 2018. It will take some time a it's a double build.
  11. Thanks a lot!!!
  12. I liked them all, but the January build, oh boy!! That brings back memories. Almost killed myself in one just like yours. Here in Brasil, they are called "carrinho de rolimã". Me and my cousin Marcelo built two of those back in the '80s. We took them to the city hall hill in my home town, and we went like bullets downhill all afternoon. Bad part was to walk uphill with those things!! And dodging incoming cars... The party was over when my mother found us. Grounded forever!!!
  13. Very very nice!! Don't like the Moebius windshield wipers tough, they look too short and kind of thick. The rest of the kit is way cool tough.
  14. That's an awesome result!!!! Have a Maverick Promo in similar shape, looks like you gave me the kick to build it.
  15. Thank you!! Very appreciated!! Thanks!! Thank you!! Thanks!!! Thanks!! When I counted them down, I couldn't believe I had done 14. That never happened before. Thanks!! Thanks!!
  16. same thing, but with my choice of soundtrack: https://youtu.be/ifP6TDaSbxw
  17. Thanks!! The Vicky was the one that took longer to build. Not all postwar, there are a couple of '40 Fords there. Also have quite a few older Fords built, just not this year. As all Ford, yes. Since December last year, I decided to build only FoMoCo cars and pick up trucks. Eventually, I build a street rod or a road racer, but nothing radical, or irreversible to stock if in 1:1 form. The exceptions are the commission builds, mostly for my cousin Marcelo, that I do the way he asks me. Still trying to convince him to start building himself. He used to do some very cool work in his teens. All the best for 2018!! Thanks!!!

  19. Real great looking Chevy. And great color choice. The wheels are also a nice day two choice for this car.
  20. You would be in extra trouble if in a addition to that you had forgotten the side mirror...
  21. Oh boy, that's a great looking Starliner. Black suits the car, and the red interior makes it a Red Widow (as the color combo is known here), what is extra sinister. One of my favorites, and the widest passenger automobile built by Ford. They had to reduce the body for 1961. If you ever drive one you will understand. Some garage doors can become tight in a hurry. No!! I didn't scratch it, but it was close. And it was not my car, I had just rebuilt the Autolite 4100 four barrel, and eliminated a Pertronix kit, installing the stock points and condenser back... Imagine telling the owner I would have to call Obsolete or Dennis Carpenter for a replacement trim...
  22. Not to mention calling the cars builds was the perfect way to piss off Harry. "It's not a build, it's a model car" Harry would say, and give us a mean look with his Clint Eastwood avatar. Boy I miss Harry.
  23. I don't see such a big deal about it. We are past half of December, so, we would have what, two weeks where people post the year in review threads? Like 1/24 of the year? And looking a cool stuff each builder did during the year, in just one thread by the builder, is way cool, at least in my point of view. The under glass section is not just the first page. I use to look at ten, 15 pages on a regular basis. No big deal guys.
