ranma Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Once again revell is doing the share your dream wab site. I have posted a few new Idea's such as Adam-12 police car, Cadillac ambulance, Impala SS wagon(phantom).
Roadrunner Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Link I've added several ideas over time (not all cars though, by a long shot), and I honestly expect to see a few of them available one day.
av405 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Will Revell be producing a kit of any of the models that have been proposed since his whole thing started?
chunkypeanutbutter Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Will Revell be producing a kit of any of the models that have been proposed since his whole thing started? Doubt it. They might look at them, then say they want to release another '57 Chevy.
Jantrix Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I voted. Still disappointed to not see an Aussie Ford Falcon XB. Nice to see some Studes on the list though.
Eshaver Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I carefully went through the whole site . Many of the potential releases like the 57 Ford wagon are becoming a reality. There is some "REAL" diorama material featured as in a Grey Hound bus that will have limited appeal . Still, I'm with most here , we have enough 57 Bel Airs, Camaro's and Mustangs . I know the race cars will hit a good many too. Formula I has never been a great seller in the US .
johnbuzzed Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) Will Revell be producing a kit of any of the models that have been proposed since his whole thing started? From what I understand, just a well- detailed Princess Leia, in the gold outfit from the third movie. Many of the requests would be re-issues. Some others are veeeerrrrrrry specific. And some are just (to me, anyway) way "out there", and I don't mean just sci-fi space stuff. Edited April 9, 2015 by johnbuzzed
Exotics_Builder Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Doubt it. They might look at them, then say they want to release another '57 Chevy. If you look at it, you will see it is Revell of Germany, not Revell USA. Both are now owned by Hobbicco, but, if it is like last year, it was a Dog's breakfast spread of requests. It may give ideas, but these companies have a variety of means to gather data.
DumpyDan Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I voted for a few, would be nice to see some of those trucks, would that be a home run
Luc Janssens Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 If you look at it, you will see it is Revell of Germany, not Revell USA. It's still the same site, though they refined the search feature and proposals nomenclature, somewhat. Yes...also a plethora of subjects, of which many duplicates, so IMHO it still needs some more massaging, also in the voting process.(if the displayed numbers are factual, not fictional, as in why let the competition use the data) Is it useful in it's current form, I doubt it, but it's nice to have a place to voice or post your idea.
ChrisBcritter Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Pleasantly surprised to see the Ford Maverick as the highest-voted car on the list at the moment (3929 votes including mine).
Bennyg Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Well the porsche 918 come to fruition, Whether they were doing it already or not. Would like to see a modern American big rig. Ben
martinfan5 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Well the porsche 918 come to fruition, Whether they were doing it already or not. Would like to see a modern American big rig. Ben Yes, Revell AG is doing the 918 , far as I aware, there is no current released date One other thing to keep in mind, a lot of stuff is from the first time around they did it, you can see the submitted date, and a lot say 2014
cobraman Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I also voted but won't be expecting to see any that I liked.
ranma Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 35 votes on the Adam-12 idea. Seen the Starsky and Hutch car listed in the 2014 idea's
Edsel-Dan Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I know that a Pic of the 72 Matador was shown, But Which Adam-12/LAPD Cruiser would you Choose first?? There were 5 Different Cruisers for ADAM-12 Alone during the 8 year run. Pilot+67 Belvedere (This one would be easiest as they have the GTX/Coronet tooling!!) First season= 68 Bevlvedere New Tooling Second + Third season= 69 Belvedere New Tooling Forth + Fifth season= 71 Satellite (Again a Possibilty based off Monogram 1/24 Satellite/GTX) Sixth-eighth Seasons= 72/73 Matador New Tooling Don't forget the Other Cruisers seen Mac, or Lt usually drove a Wagon!! Also seen were 70/71 Mercury Sedan version of Cyclone 70 Dodge Coronet 70 Satellite Wagon 74/5/6? Matador Of all, Which would be Most popular?? Also What year Cadillac Ambulance?? The picture is of Jo-Han's kit. But, What about a later one (Based off 84 DeVille Lo-Rider), or earlier one?? Round2 could decide to offer a Standard Ambulance off of Either of their 2 Ghostbuster's 59 Cadillac Ambulances!! They could also decide to do either 68 or 69 Belvedere 4dr Sedan based off their 68/9 Road Runner/GTX tooling

mikemodeler Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Saw quite a few possibilities that haven't been done in plastic so who knows?
Atmobil Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I have made several propositions on that site: Mercedes Benz W123 wagon: http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/6222/ Mercedes Benz W107 SL http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/5438/ Reissue of the 1984 Ford Transit by Esci (assuming that Revell has the molds) http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/5257/ United Stated Forest Service vehicle, they could make one easily with say the 64 Chevy pickup, some decals and a few extra parts. http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/5232/ Ferrari 456, a "modern day" Ferrari that is not in kitform. http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4389/ Citroen Ami6: http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4339/ Mercedes Benz W114/W115 http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4275/ But I am really wondering about the votes on some of the things on that site. I have seen sugestions get several thousand votes in a few days and how they do that is to me a little strange as other sugestions that have been posted at the same time may only have a few (less than a 100) votes.
