bhop73
Hi guys, i'm new here. I build all types of models, sometimes cars. I finished this one a couple days ago.. I usually post stuff at Automotiveforums model section, but it's nice to share to other forums as well. I built this for my girlfriend, who's a fan of this car. The license plates kinda match her current car plates.. just a little explanation there.. heh, heh.. I just went with the Euro look because I forgot to fill the holes for the kit plates and an American plate wouldn't cover them Fujimi kit with aftermarket wheels, and photoetch brakes, with a few other photoetch bits here and there. Baremetal foil on the chrome parts. I had a lot of issues while building it, some fitment, mostly paint problems, so it feels pretty good to complete it. http://www.bhop73.com/modelpage.php Here's an interior pic.. from before I finished the body

sjordan2
Really outstanding. I don't know how you can get such clean results for a teeny car in a small scale.
Speedfreak
Nice looking build Brandon. Are those the kit tires?

bhop73
Nice looking build Brandon. Are those the kit tires? The tires are leftovers from an old kit. Maybe an integra.. not sure, I had them in my spares box. The wheels are from Hobby Design, but didn't come with tires.
Speedfreak
The reason I asked is because the tires look really meaty, but , good.
bhop73
Here are a couple comparison shots with the kit's wheels/tires.
Speedfreak
Wow, the kit tires are even bigger! The ones you used look just right.

SCI-FI
I scoffed at the title; "Why would I click to see a model of a Fiat Abarth?" Alas, I'm glad I clicked. Awesome build, very clean finish.
