Here is a What-if model I have been working on for a while. Still not completely done but wanted to basically test out a homebullt light box I built. So here are some shots of how it turned out after several editing in Infranview photo editor. Still not perfect but better than anything I have done.
Again, the inspiration for this model was put into reality after seeing Igor Sobolevsky wonderful 3D art station work called 'Axiom Racing'. His 3d version is to 'die for'.
Still need some touch ups in some areas and needs a stand, on a wooden base, when done.

Hope you all like this build.

The Seat before placement in cockpit. I could not take a decent enough photo of the display panel but will try later. Instead of a steering wheel, I made two sets of joysticks.

Another super cool fantasy model from Tiking!

Now tell us more about both your homebuilt light box and you experience with InfranView.  I'm frustrated with my photography and like very much your results.

Just built something similiar to what is at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOiC2SlNQOQ , only a little longer. Did some test shots and the results were surprisely good. Not perfect as I made the box too wide thus the lights were further away. For smaller models, a small size box, like that in the link I posted, is sufficient. Also, a third light is a must. The third light being at the top of the box. I think the more light, the better the exposure without much editing.

That is awesome! I love the way you used wheels, etc. for other purposes. The weathering is perfect. Very creative and cool!

Thanks Kit Basher.

Thanks all. The model is still unfinished. Still need some more details and  I was thinking of adding a wing at the rear. I just do not want to over-do it. So I have to test out some designs or just leave the rear as is. I am also figuring out how to make a Canopy. This would definitely need one. Just have to find something I can use. It is going to be modelled opened, so precision is not so important.

Thanks guys.

I added a little more details:

1. Rear motor resistent protective deflectors

2. Side burners resistent protective deflectors

3. Back burner  resistent protective deflector

There will be no back-mounted wing. Changed my mind. I think it looks good without one. Still looking for a way to add a canopy to the cockpit. Until them the drive will be using his helmet.

Love it!!!!!

I like car and sci-fi models....so this is perfect!!!

Have you seen the 'future' F1 kits from Japan???

no i have not. Got a link or pics of them?

IIRC there are 4 kits.....two different versions of two different kits. One a 6 wheeler the other a 4.

They say 1/24 but in mock up seem perfect to go with 1/20 kits.

I think I will just leave this as is and not add a canopy. The area behind the driver is pretty high and would look kinda awkward. Don't want to over-do it. i will just concentrate on placing it on a base mount with a figure and call it quits.
