espo Posted November 22, 2023 Posted November 22, 2023 The level of detail and imagination is amazing.
bobthehobbyguy Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Glad to see this back. Lots of nice work.
Ridge Rider Posted November 26, 2023 Author Posted November 26, 2023 So after seven hours of searching I found the exhaust pieces safely wrapped up with pieces from another project. Not sure how I did that but glad I found them. I'll share some photos of this before the body gets added. If all goes well I hope to have this done today. 9
Duddly01 Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 This is one crazy build, I can't wait to see how it turns out!
Ridge Rider Posted November 29, 2023 Author Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) It's a bittersweet day, the Gigahorse is done. When I started this I didn't imagine it would take 8 years and over 1200 hours to complete but I guess that's part of the process of building something like this. It was a lot of fun to research and fabricate and has greatly improved my skills. Thanks for the support and encouragement along the way. There will be a lot more pictures in the Under Glass section soon. Steve The link to Under Glass Edited November 30, 2023 by Ridge Rider 6 2
bobthehobbyguy Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Nicely done. Impressive work. The next challenge is finding a display case for it. How big is the model. 1

Davewilly Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Very impressive! I have been following it from the start. Glad you stuck with it. It's a killer build man! 1

drifterdon Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 What an epic build! Congrats for staying with it to the end. I know many of us loose interest to see something of this magnitude through to the end but you hung in there. Way to go! It's definitely an award winner at whatever contest you enter it in. Peoples choice!!! 1

Rattlecan Dan Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Nothing short of incredible! That's some kind of modeling above and beyond most paygrades. Thanks for posting. 1

David G. Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Congratulations! ? I was always afraid that this would be one of those overly ambitious projects that fades unfinished into obscurity. It must be a great feeling for you to have completed this glorious build. I look forward to seeing the final photos. David G. 1
