That is jaw-dropping work, and far exceeds what that kit can be if done in stock form. I noticed that the Flying Lady mascot seems much closer to scale than the kit version -- how did you accomplish that?

But I'm confused...that's not the Lennon car I've seen since it's all Magical Mystery Tour, and the Lennon car was mostly psychedelic graphics on a stretched limo body with Series 3 dual headlights. Is this your invention? If so, it's totally brilliant.

I appreciate it, guys! This was my own idea, if the Monkees could have a Monkeemobile, why cant there be a Beatlemobile?! the hood ornament was kit bashed. Wish I could remember from what. sorry.

I'd guess the ornament was from an Italeri kit.  In any case, this is awesome.

In fact, this is so amazing that when I saw it, I asked Dann if I could do a feature of this model in the magazine... and he said yes. So be prepared to go on a little "magical mystery tour" of this model's graphics in an upcoming issue and get to check out all of those cool details up close. :D

Hi Skip, I posted some pics on the previous page. Not trying to hijack the post, just a related thing really.

The Lennon car was a Rolls Royce Phantom V limousine painted in a traditional Romany gypsy style rather than Psychedelic. We should not describe this vehicle as a 'Stretched Limo' as would be a Hummer or something dragging Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton around on their latest ego trip. Rather a Limousine as befits the cars credentials and quality.

Oh, and it is always Rolls Royce, never a Roller(you could be dismissed for referring the car to this as a showroom employee) and the designation is always a Phantom V and not a 5.

As they say, Quality, never goes out of style.

So ends this sermon ;)

A great model and love the paint.

Maybe a double feature with Fabrizio's hand-painted Janis Joplin Porsche 356?

WOW groovy man!! I dig it more than the real thing that is in a museum here in British Columbia.

So it has surfaced again? I read this car was stashed away in a private collection.

The Cloud is one of my favourite Rolls Royce's It looks so majestic transporting whoever is riding in it.
