...maybe I should have said "very, very high performance and relatively expensive sports car", rather than "Supercar", if everyone is going to get bent out of shape about what constitutes a supercar or hypercar... ;-P

And when I say British, I'm not quibbling about who owns what percentage of the company, I mean "Made in Britain by a manufacturer with British heritage". So it's not a Nissan or a Honda...

M.

Thanks! It's not as grim as I thought it was.

P1 is not only super-duper obvious, but a sorely missed boat if they don't go thru with it.  Guess we'll have to content ourselves with this...

But yes, the P1is really a hyper car.  And McLaren does make supercars that might fit the profile - 650S? 570?  Wouldn't kick either of those off my bench.

Aston DB10 from "Spectre" for a dark horse?

It's pretty nice:

I discovered at Scale Model World (IPMS UK Nats) last weekend why it scales out to 1/26 width wise and 1/22.5 length-wise. It's because there has to be a whole number of nubbins on the bricks that make it up in both directions, and because the size and spacing of them is dictated by being compatible with the world's most popular plastic brick-based construction toy...

Interesting, eh? ;-P

I like mine well enough - sure as shootin' it beats nothing at all!

I noticed that the axle bricks have been uniform across the Aventador, Veyron, and P1, and wondered what compromises might result - thought perhaps they might play with wheel offsets to bring things closer to scale.

Eh, well. They fudge the discrepancies pretty nicely.

Isn't Mini owned BMW.  Not a supercar but (based on an afternoon I spent with my son's Cooper S) a super car.

Yes.  Mini is owned by BMW.

Jonathon,it still adds up to 110%.

39+19=58

58+19=77

77+11=88

88+5+5=98

98+2=100

100+10(small investors)=110

Ahh heck, I must of added something wrong , my mistake.

a '17 Ford GT snapper.

They're build in the UK, right?

According to the internet, its going to be built in Markham Ontario Canada.

DEARBORN, Michigan — The all-new 2017 Ford GT supercar, which has the Lamborghini Aventador and Acura NSX in the crosshairs, will be built in Markham, Ontario in partnership with Multimatic Motorsports and go on sale in late 2016, Ford said on Thursday.
