zaina Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Now that I have the new space set up it was finally time to build something. Here is where I am at after a couple of evenings.
MeatMan Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Very nice engine detail I'm currently building one as well but with the 440. Very nice kit.
James2 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Great looking Dart, nice stance with those rear slicks also. Good motor detail too!
gtx6970 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 WOW, excellant job on the engine. Any particular livery on the car ?
bismarck Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Wow!! i had to do a double take when i saw those plug wires and fuel line details!!! Outstanding start man!!
louie Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Definitely outstanding. Really nice job on the engine details. Man, I love it. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing this with us. Jeff Almost forgot to ask, what are you using to hold the engine up with, is it fun tack or play doe, I'm just curious what it is because it looks like a great way to keep something in place while working on it. Thanks again. Jeff
Speedfreak Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 (edited) Your engine rocks. Nice detail X2! Not bad for a 'couple' of evenings work In fact it looks incredible. Love the stance too, looks mean and ready for bizness. Edited February 19, 2016 by Speedfreak
berr13 Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Looking really nice!! Where did you get the rear tires?
espo Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 The stance is dead on and the fuel lines, t-fittings, fuel filters, are the best I think I've ever seen. I like the idea of the bracket for the spark plug wires on the front of the cylinder head. Got to watch this for any other great ideas.
hedotwo Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 The fuel filters look like high speed diodes? Look great.
Roadrunner Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 That Engine is EXCELLENT!I couldn't agree more. Very nice.
W-409 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Great to see you back on the bench! The Dart is looking excellent so far! Those AMT slicks look a lot better than the ones with Revell kit do and your engine detailing is super sharp. Those fuel filters are my favorite part of it, where are they from?I can't wait to see more progress on this one. Start looks very promising.

zaina Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) Looking really nice!! Where did you get the rear tires? Tires are from an AMT parts pack. Edited March 3, 2016 by zaina
