crazyjim Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Pretty slick. I like how you did the rear spoiler.
Snake45 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Very, VERY nicely done! Is this the AMT kit?And can we see some more pics of your interesting custom front end?Great hood scoops, BTW.
Harry P. Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 First of all... welcome aboard, Jim! Second... what a way to say hello! That's really beautiful work.
RestoModGuy Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 Thanks for the compliments. This is actually a Revell Snaptite kit I did as a build-off challenge. Lot's of custom body work and interior work on this one. Nothing is "stock" The front grill is a 68 laid in with a upper nose piece bumper. The air-dam is hand crafted as the wheel flares and rear spoiler.Â
Snake45 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Very very interesting! I have looked at pics of a LOT of customized Sting Rays--some beautiful, others not so much--and I've never seen one like this! Which means you've got a lot of original ideas!
bobthehobbyguy Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Very nice. Looks great. Not only are the mods nicely done but they look really good on the car.
Crazy Ed Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Â Â Jim, Your Additions blend into the original yet stand apart as All Yours. That's One Wonderful Vette!
espo Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Beautiful build. I have to agree, the body and interior modifications really make it stand out.
Dann Tier Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I've seen ALOT of horrible custom jobs, but this one is OUTSTANDING!!!!

Ace-Garageguy Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Very nice. Looks great. Not only are the mods nicely done but they look really good on the car.X2.
robertw Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 An impressive design and certainly some time consuming work went into this creation. Well done.
