Mercelo Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I built this quite a while ago, this is my rendition of a '69 1/2, A-12 RR, made from the AMT '69 GTX , and a resin conversion kit which included the hood, wheels, bench seat, and I can't remember what else. It's painted in a period correct color (Honey Bronze) I believe it is, and I detailed it about as much as I dare under the hood. I hope you like it, thank you.
GMCMAN52 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 You've done a great job,That thing just looks right.
Agent G Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Fantastic!I had to look twice, then I realized the first photo was a model.G
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Very cool Marcelo! I like the fact that you went out on a limb a little with the colors. The gold with a white top & black interior is unusual but not out of the realm of possibility. Some of these old cars were built with very bizarre combinations. Whatever the customer wanted! I recently saw a car on an auction show on television with a dark green body & a red interior! Nice work Marcelo! Steve
bbowser Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 wow, beautifully built and photographedX2, well done!

gasser59 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Mercelo - that is one sweet '69 RR. I like everything about it. Where did you source the resin components? I have one to build myself and need the hood.
vintagercr Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I thought it was the real deal. Very nice indeed!
Mercelo Posted April 6, 2016 Author Posted April 6, 2016 Hey Gasser59, l found the resin caster for you.....Perrysresin.com.... $18.00 US for the 69 Road Runner 440 six pack conversion, gets you the hood, grill, wheels, bench seat. Good luck!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 That is one nice looking Roadrunner right down to the wire hose clamps and the ballast resistor. Awesome work!
