Love the look of this car and have been wanting to build one for awhile. Some of the members here suggested to get the Fujimi kit. It turned out it was a good suggestion and I really liked the kit. No major problems but I did not use all the PE parts. Nothing wrong with them just to small for my fat fingers and less than perfect eye sight. : ) Built all stock and painted with Testors Italian red. ( maybe not correct ) Decals laid down pretty good on the doors with the use of a setting solution. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Not close to perfect but then mine never are. Comments pro or con are always welcome.

Nice job Ray.  a couple of tips for decals; Try pressing with a hot damp cloth or tissue to conform, it's instant and no wrinkles. You can use a hot damp Q-tip for smaller areas like ducts. If you have trouble with decals sticking try some Future under them.

Great work! I've got one that's about 90% done with the exception of the floor pan and it's attached parts. It was warped and I managed to break it. I'll try again sometime to finish it and hope it comes out as nice as yours.

Aw com'on Ray! You build faster than I can read!! This turned out really nice! Can you share some of that enthusiastic model building with some of us that can't get ANYTHING done?

Easy Wayne, I need something to do since I am retired and model building is easier and cheaper than packing up my stuff to go shooting. I didn't think I was all that fast. Maybe I need to buy more difficult models.

Great job, Ray... it's a fantastic looking build of a fantastic looking car! I think it's one of the best looking race cars of the sixties, and you've done it justice...

bestest,

M.
