No picture as I've got it soaking in Purple Cleaner, but I bought a glue bomb Revell Audi R8 a while back. Whoever built used probably a tube and a half of citrus glue. This one is going to take a lot of patience. The smell brought back a lot of memories of me as a kid in my room putting together whatever kits I got for Christmas!

I picked up a couple of fairly nice original Fords at an auction. The '61 Starliner is in pretty good shape so I may just clean it up a bit, do some detail paint in the interior, clear and polish the outside and keep it as a survivor.  The '64 Galaxie didn't get along very well with the wheels/tires. I have a Texas 3D 2X4 SOHC and some 9.5" slicks that will turn this one into a fictitious B/FX drag car with working lights. The kit has all the parts for this option and they have never been installed.

While harvesting some useable parts from my parts bin I came across this beaut. Olds rocket engine from the revel Thames gasser. I’ll accept the challenge and see if I can pick away the glue and save this engine. I’ve got nothing better to do today than watch paint dry lol

That's gonna be a tough one to save.

Can’t remember if I posted these before or not but I got these at a local collectibles shop for next to nothing.

Break out some nail files, I am curios what the block would look like after sanding..

I have much finer tools than that, giving it a little overnight soak in the purple pond, I’ve found that sometimes it will weaken old tube cement.

I have a guy in the club that buys up collections. He just got one in from a man who passed away, 2 bin boxes of built-ups. Not glue bombs, most are nicely built. He sells them at shows and does well with them.

This poor Taxi may have hauled it's last passenger. I got this in a trade and I am glad to have it to try to harvest parts. While I do like trying to save kits, this one is more glue than plastic. Things have been welded together with prejudice!

That’s one kit I’d like to find someday.
