cobraman Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Now that is different ! I love different. Nice work,
Jantrix Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Now that is different ! I love different. Nice work, Completely agree. Well done.
shoopdog Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Very cool ! Now what can I build as a General Lee from my stash?????
Harry P. Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 As long as you didn't use a Fiat or Trabant, I think you're ok!
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 As long as you didn't use a Fiat or Trabant, I think you're ok! Oh man, I was going to suggest Trabant, too. Give it a little of that old Eastern-Bloc flavor.
slusher Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Very nicely done. Never thought of a General Pontiac but that makes it even more neat...
bogger44 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Very creative idea, I like this a lot Tulio. Very well done, as you always do.
Drake69 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 (edited) As long as you didn't use a Fiat or Trabant, I think you're ok! THAT would be a crime. And this thread just gave me an idea.... Edited June 24, 2016 by Drake69
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 24, 2016 Author Posted June 24, 2016 As long as you didn't use a Fiat or Trabant, I think you're ok! American General, American car. It would be very odd any other way.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 24, 2016 Author Posted June 24, 2016 Very nicely done. Never thought of a General Pontiac but that makes it even more neat...Well, I was going to use a Edsel, but that has already being done.
unclescott58 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 You know, I'm not a big fan of the Dukes or the Genral Lee. But, I really like this model for some reason. It just looks right. Great job.
W-Machine Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Well, if the Duke boys drove a Poncho...it might look that cool.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 25, 2016 Author Posted June 25, 2016 Thanks guys. Wishe the AMT Dodge from where the decals came had turned out as nice as this one.
mod3l Lover Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 I like it Tulio!! I have always wanted to doa '66-'68 Ford Galaxie with General Grant onit and the Stars and Stripes instead. Likely a different color also!! Maybe I'll dothat with '66 kit!?! A nice bright blue? Hmmm? David S.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 26, 2016 Author Posted June 26, 2016 I like it Tulio!! I have always wanted to doa '66-'68 Ford Galaxie with General Grant onit and the Stars and Stripes instead. Likely a different color also!! Maybe I'll dothat with '66 kit!?! A nice bright blue? Hmmm? David S.'66 Galaxie with a R Code 427, and torque thrust wheels. Blue would be nice, but it's not a high visibility color, like orange. Now, paint it red, let's say Tamiya mica red over a silver base, and now we're talking.
bobthehobbyguy Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Nicely done. One of the nice things about modeling you can try so many what ifs.
Jon Haigwood Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Very nice, but this Old Guy is somewhat confused: A car originally a Mopar built as a GM with a Ford sign in the background. Must be American diversity. (although I will be building a Chevy Semi truck sporting the Generals colors this coming weekend with my Grandson)
