Lost a sister yesterday

I have two sisters both older than me. The older of the 2 was 71. About 2 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought that and won and she was cancer free. About 3 months ago she found the cancer had returned. She was doing the chemo treatments but about 3 weeks ago became very ill. She was admitted to the hospital where they discovered she had brain cancer. She was in the hospital for a little less than 2 weeks before we were told she had about 10 days to live and they could do no more for her. My BIL opted to have her come home and do the home hospice thing. For the last almost week and a half of her life we could not communicate with her and she was not eating or drinking. She passed away peacefully yesterday about 1 in the afternoon. Her name was Carole and I will miss her.

My sincere condolences Ray.  My wife lost her mother to ovarian cancer.  We spent days sitting in a hospital room around the clock watching her slowly slip away.
