2002p51 Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Before we look at the photos of the completed model, click on the link to see the under construction thread. Go ahead, we'll wait. Okay, here's the finished product. As you can see (I hope) the custom mixed maroon color shows better here. Nothing unusual or trick in the final assembly. I didn't spend very much effort in the interior because, as you can tell, you can't see very much in there. The only thing not out of the box is the license plate which I pulled off the web, resized to scale, and printed it on glossy photo paper. Done! I really like 1:1 scale Model A coupes so this kit is a natural hit for me. I'd like to get one or two more but I understand they're already in short supply and most retailers, even the on-line ones, are waiting for a new shipment. I think Revell has a hit on their hands.
Snake45 Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I like this a lot more than I planned to (not a huge A fan)! Nicely done, and model on!
Allen Wrench Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 There won't be any new shipments of this kit for awhile. It's my understanding the tooling has been damaged and the kit is expected to be out of production for some time.
351 cleve Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Hey Drew, good to see ya back. Great job on the A model. Hope to see you and the model A in January at Jeffs show!!
Dennis Lacy Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 This came out awesome! I really like the color, the W-motor was a great choice and the lowered front makes all the difference in the world.
wayne swayze Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I agree, the colour is just right! That's a very nice looking hot rod!
Intmd8r Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I like you're vision lolThat color looks "right" on the Model A!
Robberbaron Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Really nice. This is what an A coupe should look like!
peekay Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 That is really nice! Hope this kit becomes available again soon.
o-man Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 These cars are not my cup of tea, but I really like it
bogger44 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Really nice. This is what an A coupe should look like!I completely agree. Very sharp build and a great color choice.
geetee66 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Looks like 1:1.Can't really give higher praise than that.stance, colour, etc. Bang on!
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Very nice. The well-modified stance, engine choice and color all set it apart. Fine looking little car.
