Sixties Sam Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) This was a quickie curbside build using a resin body and a simple scratch built frame. 25 T interior tub cut down (still doesn't quite fit perfectly), 25 T headers, 40 Ford front axle, parts box wheels, etc. Testors medium blue paint, Krylon maroon interior. Simple build, but fun to do! Edited October 22, 2016 by Sixties Sam
wayne swayze Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Wow! That was quick! Still looks cool tho'. Maybe I should try a "quickie" build, just for fun!
Sixties Sam Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 Here's a rear view. I'll add a license plate decal later.

misterNNL Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Thanks.I probably won't live long enough to build all of the resin stuff I have stock piled including quite a bit of Jimmy' s stuff.I just finished a curbside speedster based in his narrowed '20 Olds body.
slusher Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Flintstone body from ebay. Good body - very little cleanup needed. Sam sent you a pm...

MeatMan Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Really nice work Sam. I've been looking at those recently but I know I won't have time to build it.
Tom Geiger Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Nice little roadster! I have that Flintstone body too, been looking at doing something with it. I'd love to have that one in 1:1 too! Would be fun as a run around town car.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Nicely done. I have a thing for track-nose cars, especially low low low ones.
Sixties Sam Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 Thanks for all the compliments, guys! Sometimes the quick and simple builds come out better than the long, laborious ones!Sam
