GMCMAN52 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Looking at Medicare next month. I'll be living off the government
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Most days i feel about 45 (but in reality, that was quite a while back). Some days I feel 25, and some 85. First thing in the morning, it's more like 110.When I look in the mirror, I still have a hard time believing that old geezer looking back is really me.
High octane Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 we are a bunch of old farts on here. Just the AARP group here. And it is a privilege as many people don't make it to our ages according to the news every day.
Snake45 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 same as yourself, 61, and been car and model car sick since about 1967 or so. some days I feel 161, but most of the time now I feel 18 again.....all the right young gal's in one's life can make age disappear very quickly, I have now found...lol......lol.....the Ace..... Ace and I were apparently separated at birth, except I got into model cars in 1966...and even still have a few of them, too.
wayne swayze Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I'll be 70 in three months. (No party plans) I might just sit and look at my stash of kits and wish I was younger.......

Dave Ambrose Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I'm 61 as well. A couple months ago, I felt 71, but now am feeling 50-something. A little medical attention will do that to ya.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 i plan on living forever....so far so good I like your attitude. Works for me.
Snake45 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Lemme see...what did I come into this thread for......?

Ace-Garageguy Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I'm 39. Will be over the hill in two months from today. You never heard the old phrase "life begins at 40"?
JTalmage Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I turned 30 in April of this year. Although I'm out of shape and beat up, so I feel older physically. Which stinks.
Snake45 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 You never heard the old phrase "life begins at 40"? Where I work, the saying is, "LIfe begins at 4:31 PM."
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Where I work, the saying is, "LIfe begins at 4:31 PM." Hmmm. I'd always heard it was 4:20.
BIGTRUCK Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I remember getting ready for work was a shower, usual grooming and coffee....1/2 hour or so...now the 1/2 hour is dedicated to grunts and groans , then the shower and grooming, wash a few pills down with that coffee, a few strategic ace wraps to hold various joints in place, and then off to work. As a kid I would always wonder why older folks got up so early.
