How true.

At present, I'm in limbo and worrying, testing is not complete yet.  I don't feel well, period.  New stuff for me.

Dave, I'm pleased to read of your recovery!

Thank you. Not knowing is the hardest part, and they often have to run several tests to rule out certain conditions. I'm a dyed in the wool technologist so all the instruments and what-not are interesting. I ask a lot of questions. Stay with it. They won't give up until you do.

Building a birth year car..  I was born Sept of 1958, and the 1959s were headed down the assembly line by then.  So I collect 1959s.

Same story here. I was born in '54. There is no 1954 car that interests me, but if we're allowed to count anything BUILT in 1954, that opens up the wonderful '55 Chevy. B)

Got a green light today after long term ECG.  Zero heart problems reported.  Arteries all clear and fine and things are pumping as they should.  Even a compliment about the blood count, low cholesterol and other values are very nice.

Tomorrow a renewed checkup about blood pressure, apparently the meds need to be re-arranged due to incompatibility.

I'm much happier now.

Great to read lots of older guys still at it here!  Good stuff.

In Sept. of '58 the 59's were already on the car haulers heading to the dealers. I use to check them out on our road trips to Buffalo.

This would make for an interesting thread. ;)

My birthday is October of '61 so I guess I could have these choices as seen here.................

This would have been brand spanking new sitting on the dealers lots just as the '62's were being intro'd or soon to be. This is a '61 Chrysler Imperial.

Or this.............

'62 'Vette...
