this was another club build last summer,amt body,bed shortened,added board rack,revell 32 frame zeed in back,amt 9" ford reshaped,custom mounts,revell small block chev muncie 4 speed w/scratch built shifter,custom radiator,fuel tank,all mounts,brackets,hydraulic clutch,brake and fuel lines there are no aftermarket parts on this build

Very cool build John.  I especially like the wheels.  What kit / or who machined them if I may ask?   We don't see many pick-ups and this is executed nicely.   cheers, tim

tim,the back wheels are from revell's 66 penske corvette i just changed the offset and made them deeper.there's no metal here 100% plastic

Great looking build, so many little details. The rack for the Surf Boards looks great. Are the exhaust tubes plastic also ??

I am really not a fan of this era model, because everybody builds them the same.... same ol' same ol', no imagination.....

 

EXCEPT YOU !!    Very nice, very different, great wheel choice, nice detail, and the surf boards really top it off, i like this one for sure. !!!

I really like this. The metal finishes are just right and give the whole thing a visual weight that belies its plastic origins.

Super build that has a great look.

Your exhaust pipes into the muffler/exhaust tips has a tapered look to the different size pipes.  How did you do that taper?
