Thanks, Mike! And, I appreciate the kind word, Wayne!  Need to get back to this...  -KK

Haven't finished the '33 coupe and have relocated in the last year to the country estate located in the Georgia rolling hills east of Alabama and just west of South Carolina.  My new/old bench is alive and well in the bonus room over the parlor.  A couple of dormers let in the natural light during the day and over work space lamps light the surface to work in the dark hours of the early mornings.

I'll leave you with a few recent shots of the coupe before it landed back on my bucket stack of semi-started WIPs.  Check you all later, -KK

I’m glad to see this back on the bench. I just discovered this build and reading through the thread has been very entertaining. Outstanding work here, looking forward to seeing more.

Me too! I really appreciate all the cool tricks and clever parts sourcing that has gone into this project so far. Looking forward to seeing more, whenever that happens to be :)

Nice stuff there Kit!!  Love the rear axle

David, look back at the section where the trunk floor had to be raised... -KK

Simply astounding work on this model. Having a first hand knowledge of how things need to be in the real world has proven to be a real asset here. Of course having the slice and dice skills of a surgeon along with a "take no prisoners" attitude about absolute perfection in all details is obvious in these photos. Thanks for sharing your skills with us. I'm in awe and will certainly continue to follow your progress.

This sure has been an interesting thread with fantastic building and mods. I have picked up a couple ideas from this. Keep up the great work, looking very forward to seeing it in paint.

Martin, thanks for checking back... my '33 has been placed on the back burner so I could catch up on a speed boat I was starting for a modeling buddy.  In the process of working on it, he took a pass on finishing it!  And, of course I had to have a tow vehicle! (check out: '49 Chevy 3100 Suburban Woody "On The Workbench")

I'll be getting back on the '33 later this spring.  -KK

Back a while ago the '33 3W was put on the back burner while a woody & a water mixer hit the bench with the power of a pacific tidal wave... if you had jumped over to check out the termite bait build, well that duo ended up all wet with the deadline for the Flordia's West Coast Auto Modelers NSRA Southeast Street Rod Nationals having come and gone and has since been set out to dry.  I promise that if life provides me with the time to finish these, I will bring them all back to the forum! As for now, the '29 Track Nose Roadster is center stage on my bench! -KK

@Kit Karsonthe work you put into the 33 has inspired me to start another, well that is once I get through the backlog of the 15 32 ford body styles. 11 down four to go…

Gotta ask, have you thought about letting Ed pull a mold off this? Since the kit manufacturers haven't seen fit to give us a good chopped 33/34 3 window kit in 1/25 it would be great to have a resin body. And your body is way better than we would end up with from Revell anyway.

Unfortunately, there's more than just the body that would have to be cast.  The '33 3W will not fit the stock AMT '34 5W Coupe chassis, let alone the fenders.  I even talked to Norm Verber before he decided to cut back on his casting.  He had cast a couple of my other Deuce master's several years ago.

Ed & I go way back, and this is not something he was interested in a couple of years ago.  It's not something everyone is looking for when 3D is able to do one that would work on either the Monogram or AMT foundation. -KK
