This is the Revell Mr. Norm's '68 Dodge Dart. This shade of blue (Tamiya Metallic Blue) was not exactly what I was looking for but, figured I would see it through to the end. The small emblem decals fell apart as soon as I tried to install them, so I didn't even try to use the stripes. This is also the first model that I did not give up on when it came time to foil the wheel lip molding. The body was a little flexed and did not fit the chassis very well, so ride height isn't where I would like it (too low in the rear). Overall, I think this is a nicely detailed kit. Thanks for looking.

Wow Michael! I think it looks great! My first car was a Dodge Dart and it was very close if not this exact color.

One can't have too many Mopar models! B)

Thanks for the comments. The color is fairly accurate to the original color. My personal tastes lean to more subtle colors and I should have chosen a different hue (more turquoise). It was a fun build though and I have already started another one that will done in green. Hopefully the decals are in better shape for this one.

Beautiful Dart. If you clearcoat the stripes, they should hold together. One thing, the air cleaner decal is for the high performance 383/440, which should be hemi orange versus the turquoise of the lower hp engines.

Yeah, I wish I had the "440 Four Barrel" one.
