I finished this one over the weekend.  It's a little different subject for me, and a curbside built box-stock.  The Hasegawa kit was enjoyable to build as everything went together easily, but the metal transfers didn't want to stick and I lost the tiny "D" from the Mazda script for a while.  The dash was fun but I trashed the horn button emblem.  Since you can't see the dash well with the full side windows I just did a little scribble of fine point Molotow for visual interest.  Thanks for lookin'.

Curt I've got one of these on a slow simmer and I'm inspired by the way yours turned out. Interesting design and a nice kit very well built .

Really nice build of an obscure car.  That front end design is alright, but the rear end - well, I think the designer needs to stay away from the Saki.

neat build -is that an old kit

Yes, this one's a few years old but still readily available on eBay.

That looks great, Curt... excellent job on a little known but cool car. I've been trying to discover if they came in any colour other than white for my build, but it looks like the answer is no... (I have the police car kit, since it was cheap, but I think building it street stock simply involves leaving out a couple of interior parts and not fixing the light on top!).

Well done!

All the best,

M.

Matt, this is the only one I've seen that was not white.  It's a 1970 model in a popular color for that year.
