TooOld Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) This was built using Little "T" parts and the body and frame from a Boomer Bucket , which being molded in white made painting it yellow much easier . It has a cut down '32 radiator shell & grille , rear wheels from a Little Coffin , and a few custom parts including the headers and the top . Had lot's of fun building this one and I hope you like the "Show Rod that Never Was" ! Coming Soon ! Edited April 2, 2018 by TooOld 1

Modelbuilder Mark Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 I REALLY dig this! VERY nice model, and project idea.
geetee66 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 You nailed it! Very clean build. Chrome looks great. Proper eye-candy ?
afx Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Always liked the 1/12 scale Monogram rods and wonder why the weren't offered in 1/24 scale. I assume it was financially driven, they could charge more for the 1/12 kits and didn't want to undercut those sales. Regardless great build Bob and I'm looking forward to the future installments in this series.

Eric Macleod Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I get the ideathat this represents a tremendous amount of work. You have executed it beautifully and the presentation with the art work is top notch. Great, great model.

Regardless great build Bob and I'm looking forward to the future installments in this series. It had to be financially driven . Some of the parts needed to replicate them in 1/24th scale were included in the Little T , they even showed similar looking versions on the side panel of the box . I'm hoping to finish the other two in the next few months .
