Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Took this Charger along with some olther models to a reunion at our local hobby shop. After chatting, looking at the other guys's models, and a considerable amount of beer, I dropped the Dodge on the floor... It was carpet, so the major damage was the corner of the front right fender. Of course, all parts decided to fly appart... Glued everything back together, but had to repaint the front right fender. Gave the entire car a polish, and no evidence of the beer ding is visible, LOL!!!
Geno Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 You make an excellent body man Tulio, it looks great.
Classicgas Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Very Nice. Just missing the 500 stripe on the rear.
Slotto Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 looks like you used kitty hair for the repair on the front fender. Nice build. Love it

Snake45 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Great save of a nice build, and it's the now semi-rare 500 to boot! Sweet! (Will Round 2 ever reissue the 500, yathink?)
ewetwo Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 This is what the real Dodge Charger looked like. Not the 4 door sedan they now call a Charger.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 15, 2018 Author Posted April 15, 2018 Thanks guys!! I was quite happy I was able to save it without having to strip the body, or any other major surgery. I only built three Mopars, and would be sad to see this one ending on the bin.
espo Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 See this is why its not a good idea to drink and drive. Beautiful save on the Charger.

It had the wrong rear window, so I thought it would be actually easier to build it like a Charger 500. By other hand I used the Dukes decals to build a General Lee out of a '62 Poncho.
