You are correct Dale. The riders have absolutely NO FEAR. It's the most insane race in the world. I hope no one gets killed.

When I saw this thread I thought it was going to be about the Aisle Of Mann TT. It's nice not to be let down for once. :) I'm not a motorcycle guy at all, but the TT has always fascinated me.

Our carpenter, used to race that every year, for 10 years plus. Although he's married now with one little 4 year old son, he's still trying to raise cash to buy another racer. Of course one of our English heroes  who turn's on TV in various World Speed attempts now is Guy Martin, the truck mechanic extraordinaire!

When I was a child our next-door neighbours used to take their bike with a tent wrapped up on the back and have their two week summer holidays just watching the racing!

A former motorbike racer buddy of mine once pointed out that many tracks in England are bordered by stone walls. This means as a rider leans into a turn his head gets ever closer to those stone walls!

But I have no room to criticize anyone else's pastime.

Years ago I rode a GSXR750 , and I've heard of this race before but 1st time I've seen any kind of lengthy  video of it .  Those guys have bigger balls than I ever will.

Those guys have much bigger knads than that.

Skill+Some insanity="The Isle of Mann TT".I really like watching these guys race.I love motorcycles, and I love speed, but you couldn't pay me enough $$ to ride even one lap..Great race action. These guys race wide open,150-200 mph through small villages, and farm land..I Hope none of the racers get injured,or worse yet,get killed...Good luck to all of them.

:D The closer I get to dying of old age, the less interest I have in spending any of my remaining time in traction in the hospital. I won't even ride my little 600 Cow in traffic anymore.

I don't know if I've become more of a coward or just smarter.  ;)

Definitely smarter.  it makes me cringe when i see young girls whizzing around the town on motor scooters wearing just shorts and singlet.
