Another one built some time back.

Tried and build it like one that a local service station had when I was a kid.

Had what was left if the old Baja Jeep kit and parts from another later Jeep kit.

Didn't have the doors for the half cab so made my own from a couple hoods that were in the parts box and added fictitious business information!

Most excellent! Nice job! Would love to have Round 2 reissue this kit again with whatever mold inserts they can find for the various versions issued over the years.  One my favourite Jeep kits and have quite a few (more is better, right?) Growing up I can remember lots of local service stations/garages having half cab Jeeps, most equipped with plows or plow mounts.

Unfortunately the plow was missing so used the push bar.

In the winter most had a power start unit the would put in the back that was gas powered.

A Great Jeep! That Half Cab rocks. I too, wish that Round2 could dredge up some of the missing Jeep parts. The Half Cab and snowplow lead that list.

Same here! It was so common to see them at gas stations even a neighbor had one that he used to plow driveways with.

I have a couple of the half cabs, sure wish someone would resin cast them for me! The snow plow is available from Olsen Bros.

Back on topic- Nice work on that Jeep!

Contact the Olsen Brothers , they may work out a deal with you.

I would get a couple of the half cabs for a CJ5 and even a whole cab.

I sure do like this Jeep.

Good Idea Andy, I will do that this week. Who knows, could be something of interest for them. Of course if Round2 would re-issue the Jeep it would help them sell more!

They sure would Mike...along with factory stock wheel covers too.  I have been waiting over 10 years to restore mine but without the doors..?

Only gripe is the license plate-- that style came about in the every late '80s, so unless you were born in the early '90s, it's way too new. :D

There's still a Jeep like this at a local service station used for plowing, so your replica is spot on.

Mark/Andy,

I sent an email today, I will let you know what Olson Bros. has to say about resin casting the Jeep parts.

Got a reply back from Olson Bros. Stay tuned, they will have some resin goodies for lots of us as it relates to this subject and others!
