Hmm...I only have like four or so unbuilt AMT 60 Chevy pickups and a handfull of restorationprojects but I do want to get atleast one with that Go-kart in it.

For other kits with bonuses in them, the AMT 66 Buick Riviera lowrider has a lowrider-type bicycle in it aswell.

As for manufacturers on the other side of the globe, Tamiya had scooters/mopeds in some of their 1:24 car kits from the early 80s. I got the Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo GTES (kit number ss2422) that has a Yamaha Towny 50cc inside.
Some years ago I built the Toyota Soarer Turbo 2000VR and that had a Yamaha Beluga 800cc scooter inside the box.
There is some others aswell but I don't remember what kits had scooter/moped bonuses in them other than the two I got.
The Tamiya 1:24 Honda City came with a collapsable Honda Motorcompo (?) to put in the trunk just like the 1:1 cars. did.

Years ago I heard that the molds for these AMT kits were still around. When the Parts Packs started being re-released I was really hoping to see these come out as well. Still hoping! I would also love to see the Japanese companies turn out those old 'extras' as well.

In Fujimis Tools set 3 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10171131
one can find some strange extra parts, they are called out as not to be used in the instructions:

The KK F and KK E parts trees have (from what it looks like to me) a dangling toy cat, a cofeepot, two different helmets, two wraped parcellooking things, a radio with the letters TRIO on it that is to be mounted on a wall, two paper/garbage bins, two chessboardgame parts, a hand held radio, some serving trays, two noodle bowls, a flower and some kind of shield and several other parts I can't identify. On the D partstree there is something that looks like maybe an aircompressor that is called out as not to be used. I do wonder where these parts come from.

Ken, I would like to apologize for what ever happened here to hijack YOUR "Incomplete Bonuses" found in kits thread.

I had only thought of all the other "Complete Bonuses" found in other kits, obviously a distinction some here have missed. Again I apologize.

Looks like admin combined two topics that probably didn't need combining. oh well. it's a tough job they do

The Go Kart with the '60 Chevrolet Pickup  is a "go", even though it has not been formally announced as correctly pointed out by Craig.  It is a combination restoration of the original tooling/reproduction of the unit in the original '63 Apache kit.  TB

Wonder how well the kart will fit in the current AMT '60 Chevy pickup? The original '63 Apache was a long bed; Round2 would have to retool the '60 bed and chassis to match it (fat chance!).

Maybe it will fit w/ the tailgate down.

Chris.....it fits the '60 Chevy bed just fine.....it sits on two slats that fit to the top of the bed sides, just as on the original pickup.   Based on a picture I saw, the shortbed '60 modern era tool doesn't seem to present a problem ......TIM

Wow,I do remember a lot of those kits, especially the ones with dirt bikes. At the young age of building these cool models,I also loved dirt bikes, and dirt bike riding. Now the kits and bikes look ancient.

The AMT '29 Ford Woody/Pickup kit includes a Schwinn Stingray generic '60s style bicycle with a banana seat, like so:

Many kits come with extra stuff, whether it be just some cool extra parts,i.e. engine stand and bare block in the AMT Nova kits or complete accessories as denoted on the box top, boat and trailer, bike and trailer.

Here's one with a complete bicycle inside, AMT 1929 Ford Woody/Pickup, not sure how to tell from the exact same kit that doesn't have the bike. :(

Hmmmm, that's what I started this thread with before it was combined with the " Incomplete Bonuses" thread.

A 'Christmas Tree', found in the MPC '71 Dodge Charger:

Isn't that still in the oft-reissued '72 GTO? Runs in my mind that it is.

The Tree was in both the Charger and GTO, '71 and '72 MPC annual kits.  Not sure if it is in the most recent reissue of the '72 GTO.

Single axle trailer from AMT '64 Corvette Sport Coupe:

It was in the roadster kit, too, but for some reason was slightly different, as discussed elsewhere.

Here's that topic:

Someday I'd like to get both in my hands, just to closely compare the two.

The first reissue of the Fireball 500 kit had a trailer included.  No mention of it anywhere on the box though!

I bought three kits in one box, minus the trailers for $10.

Once I bought an AMT/ERTL Fireball 500 cheap at a kit swap meet. You're right, no mention of the trailer anywhere on the box. The kit was open, so it was easy to check and make sure the trailer was in there.  I took out the trailer and put the Fireball 500 up on eBay, with some other incomplete kits I robbed parts from.

Here's one of my favorite "complete bonus" kits, with TWO complete bonuses!  The MPC '75 Dodge van.  It includes a Yamaha Dirt Bike, plus a set of workbenches and storage cabinets.  As it says on the box, "Bonus: Complete workshop, can be built as van interior or displayed separately in racing scene diorama."  My only complaint about the workbenches is that all the tools are just relief-molded into them, not separate parts.

How about the little animals that came in early AMT kits?

IMG 1080

The dog from the '57 Ford. It's still in current releases of the kit

Check out the custom window treatment! Neato! Monkey was one of the mascots included in the Styline kits

Monkey,  is in the 1962 Valiant kit, at least the Styleline customizing version.

There was a squirrel in the 1963  and 1964 Valiant kit.

It was also in the 1963 II Wagon kit. It's on it's own tree.  The 1962 Chevy II appears to have had a panda in it, while the convertible had a mouse.

Alligator from the 1957 Chevy kit

I include them when I restore one of the old customs for that collection.

The others??

In addition to the recently re-issued Yamaha Enduro MPC issued a Suzuki TM400 in the 70s.

Both of the bikes were included in the '76 Dodge pickup annual,  The Suzuki probably appeared in other kits as well.

NOTE-The Yamaha pictured has head/taillights added; what came in the box was basically identical to the parts pack reissue.
