Mpc 1970 Mercury cyclone

I bought this one on evilbay probably about 4 months ago now and its been done for some time ive just yet to upload it for everyone to see. The kits engine is a boss 429 while its cool its not accurate so i pillaged a revell 70 torino for the heads, intake, transmission, exhaust and a few other odds and ends.

Very nice showroom stock build. The only models of this era Mercury I recall were done in different NASCR livery's.

Me too. I'm not a particular fan of anything Merc except a few early Cougars, but I'd definitely buy and build at least one if the kit were available.

Engine looks right at home in there.  Makes me mad  it took about 30 years after the non Boss 429s were put in 69-71 Fords and showed up in the Torino kit.
