vamach1 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Any Mustang is a good Mustang and this one looks very cool. Nicely done.
'70 Grande Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Really like this build! Paintwork looks great; color choices are right-on! What kit is this build based-on?

What kit is this build based-on? Thank You everyone. it was built using parts from 3 different Monogram kits. 2 were glue bombs purchased off EBay, one being the convertible (2222) and the other I believe was Cobra(2260). Mostly the 79 Pace Car kit was used.
espo Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Great looking Mustang. I like how you used bits and parts from several different kits to make something unique.
Dann Tier Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Wow!!...extremely nice!!, I don't see enough of these being built...thanks for sharing!! -by the way, I like the REAL Cherokee next to the fake one in the background!

I cut the oil pan, and used the kit one. Edited December 9, 2018 by madhorseman
slusher Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Beautiful Mustang Roy! Great black paint! I remember when these was new and I wanted one......
bogger44 Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Real sharp pony, Roy. I like the exhaust dumping ahead of the axle. This reminds me of a 1:1 very similar to what you've built here that I "almost" bought a few years back. It was a black on black '84 GT with a built 5.0 and numerous other upgrades throughout the car that just needed some minor finishing. I spotted it on Craigslist like 5hrs after it was posted, called the guy and it had just sold. I was bummed....
