Hi guys, haven't been around for a few years on this board. See quite a few new names here. I recently finished this JoHan that I built to replicate the units used by my hometown (Amsterdam, NY) ambulance corps. Complete with their original logo.

Great build! Guess it's orange because of Amsterdam's relation to Holland (their traditional national color being orange)?

It looks so real I thought the first picture was a screen shot of one of those American films about hospitals I used to watch on afternoon re runs when I was a kid.

Good question. Not sure though. Most ambulances up through the 1980's were orange and white here in the US.
