JasonC Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Kept this one pretty much box stock minus a few small things. Paint I used Tamiya Green Pearl with Testors Wet Look. Used Duplicolor GM Medium Green Metallic on the frame, wheels, and engine/trans. Interior is Pearl white with dual coat. Used Washi tape for the pattern on seats and door panels. Also put down some dark green flocking. Decals are from various other kits.

James2 Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Lovely! Great looking custom with the right amount of mods and colors... How did you do the green piping on the seats?

espo Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 I really like this. Perfect color for the Custom look. I also like the engine and chassis detailing. I'll have to try the tape idea, it looks great.

How did you do the green piping on the seats? I used a fine point green sharpie. Thankfully there was an indent in the seat and with me holding my breath, I was able to get a straight line.
Dave Darby Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Gorgeous. Great color and really has the feel of an early custom.
1930fordpickup Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 (edited) I would like to add to my earlier post, I like how you took a kit that many people do not like and made a beauty out of it. Edited December 28, 2018 by 1930fordpickup
