when I first got into the hobby, about 11 years ago, I was inspired by model cars in magazines and online. Among, others there was a guy called Gary Seeds, who was knocking out some great paint jobs on his cars. It was my goal to one day, get my paint down like that. I've still got a lot to learn, but it's the quality of builds I see on this forum, that makes me keep pushing my abilities.
