rastta Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 I've always had a soft spot for GTO's. The detail of Revell's kit was excellent and made for a nice build. Once again I rattle canned it with Testors Extreme Lacquer Pure Gold. This paint lays down so nice and easy. Basically I built it pretty much stock. First time for doing all the chrome on the window trim etc. I also knicked a bit of the foil on the bottom that I'll have to replace. Came out better than I hoped. Wish I had taken better pics of the interior though.
PappyD340 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Fantastic looking build, great color choice, well done Joe!
Snake45 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Very nice! These look so good in gold, don't they? Well done and model on!
espo Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Nice clean looking GTO. I like the chrome trim and the interior looks great also.
olschoolkid Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Nice GTO. I really like the gold and the redline tires. It definitely looks like it could've been on the Pontiac dealer showroom if it were 1:1.

rastta Posted March 25, 2019 Author Posted March 25, 2019 Thanks for all the compliments. While I keep improving on every build I still have a long way to go.
martin9428 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 My dad owned one of these in red. Very fond memories. Nice work
