crazyjim Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Back in the day when I was still walking to school I used to see a Mopar that sat way up in the air. I think the guy drove in 2nd or 3rd gear all the time. It made an impression on me that lasts today. So here's my '67 GTX in HOK violette pearl with red line tires on Keystone wheels.
Peter Lombardo Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 I have to say, I never saw a GTX in any color combination even close to this, but I have to say it looks pretty cool. This color interior is more likely to be seen in a custom, not a muscle car, but.... why not? very well done.
Hmann68 Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Very sharp indeed! I envy the time you must have to build so many! Love the 67 Mopars ?
crazyjim Posted May 21, 2019 Author Posted May 21, 2019 Thank you Peter. Christopher, Keith, Peter, and Anders. Can't go wrong with purple.
Classicgas Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Very nice. Where did you get the exhaust tips? A suggestion to make the Keystones pop, flat black along the insides of each spoke.
crazyjim Posted May 21, 2019 Author Posted May 21, 2019 Thank you Michael and Lee. Exhaust tips are aluminum tubing - maybe 3/16" dia over a smaller tube 1/8"?? K&S makes the tubing and Hobby Lobby carries it along with my LHS. They come flat so I polish them up.
Brutalform Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Fantastic Mopar. I like how you carried out the color theme.
crazyjim Posted May 22, 2019 Author Posted May 22, 2019 Thank you Scott, Matthew, David, Tom, and Gene.
