Bernard Kron Posted June 9, 2019 Author Posted June 9, 2019 Thank you all, once again. I very much appreciate it when a project of mine can make a connection.
James2 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Looks real nice BK, I like the finish. I have a resin Coupe body that I actually covered with Bare Metal Foil, it's a some dat build...
Rider Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Cool looking build, very nice work on the interior. I bet it looks even better in person.
Bernard Kron Posted July 28, 2019 Author Posted July 28, 2019 Again, thanks to you both for the kind words!
geetee66 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 That is so cool. I agree with everyone else. That bare metal effect is superb. inspires me to build one.. ?
Bernard Kron Posted September 15, 2023 Author Posted September 15, 2023 Thanks to all the past posters and to Charles for seeking out this older build.
#1 model citizen Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Very convincing finish. Very nice! 1
Zippi Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Love this 32 Roadster man. Just a Super nice build. Well done. 1
James2 Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 That looks great! I did the same thing on a 32-roadster body once using some outdated BMF. Yours turned very nice. I'll bet you never complain out foiling a 57,58 Chevy again! 1

I'm not sure I'm right but it seems you might think this is BMF. It's not, it's silver paint and "chrome" metalizing powder as explained in my original post. But I'm glad you dig it! ?

adamelvis Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Nothing better than plain Metal, Gas & Power !! TCB, Adam
alan barton Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 (edited) I must have missed this one first time around but like everyone else, I am very impressed with your bare metal finish. Just to back up how authentic it is, here is a local West Aussie car owned and built by Marcel Berkhout from a Brookville body. The car has been on the road for about eight years now and still looks like this. It is a real hot rod having been driven all over Australia, and without a roof! Sadly, local licensing laws force us to run cycle fenders so we just have to put up with that abomination. I'll tell him to add a Moon tank next time I see him! Cheers Alan Edited June 25, 2024 by alan barton
