curt raitz Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 I saw a photo of a RatRod truck with a guitar shaped nose in a magazine. Decided it would be fun to build something like it in 1/25th scale. So here it is...started with the Revell 1941 Chevy PU, chopped and channeled the body, rebuilt the bed, added Replicas & Miniatures fuel tank, installed a Chevy V-6, tires from parts box added to kit wheels and scratch-built the guitar grill. Painted primer red and used Rustall to dirty it up, decals are from Steve. espo Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Quote Neat looking pick up. I like the V6 engine idea.
Cpt Tuttle Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Now that's different, but why not? Dare to be different!
Lunajammer Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Yeah, I pretty much see this every day. And by every day I mean never! Clever build Curt.
#1 model citizen Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Very cool! I was wondering, does it have a banjo steering wheel?
