peekay Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Very nice! I also like your model for all the things it's not: Mustang, Camaro, Porsche, Ferrari etc.
Foxer Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 You don't see one of these every day, even in 1953! Very cool!
'70 Grande Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Great-looking build! Not only is the subject-matter unusual but so is the color treatment, which is excellent! In my hometown there was an old farmer that collected 1:1 early-1950's Kaisers; he had about 20 or 25 of them in various states of disrepair parked all around his farmhouse back in the 1970's. They came in a variety of unusual colors; not certain why, but the local kid's called it the "Bubble-car" collection. I think only one of the collection was driveable and I remember seeing that old farmer driving it around occasionally. It was a Dark Green color with a Pale Green roof. Thanks for bringing back that memory!
Modlbldr Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Nice! When I was growing up we had a 54. Kaisers were very different looking cars. I'd love to have a Kaiser Vagabond. I've only seen two and both were in very rough shape, sitting in fields. Later-
bbowser Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Great model! I love seeing offbeat subjects like this, perfect colors.
RomanII Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Very nicely done! Do you know if this resin kit is still available?
89AKurt Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I like seeing something different! Well done. There was a National Kaiser convention almost next door to me a couple years ago.
Merc-57 Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Very nice build! I like it a lot!!! Unusual cars, I guess they´re even more rare in 1/24
