Thanks all.

To be honest, hadn’t got to the point of  the tail gate trim yet, not sure if I want carry it down, or lose it all together. I think once I get the body back there smooth, I’ll have a better idea. Still pondering what to do with the front lower fenders, have to get it somewhat on wheels and see what looks ‘right’.

Thanks for looking, and feel free to throw out ideas.....

Added some more putty to a few spots, sanded off the bed trim running down to the tail lamps, built the actual box/bed and got that fitting nicely into the body, and narrowed the ‘wing’ and massaged the uprights to fit the bed rails. I think next up is going to be figuring out how to finish off the lower front fenders. Thanks again for looking.

Thanks all. Started working on the interior transplant. This is where having a second kit in the stash comes in handy, as I do things backwards ( like to do the body first on every build, get it in color, and it keeps me motivated), it’s nice to have another body to test fit things - in this case, the interior. On a normal build, wouldn’t be necessary, but as I’m going to use the mopar interior bits, the other body helps. Dash is a real close fit, might have to add some styrene to the windshield edge to fill the gap, but it’s close. So so far I’ve cut the console off the superbird tub, and cut out one door panel and grafted it onto the elco tub drivers side panel, little filler on top to fill the gap, once dry, will shape it to fit the ‘window’ opening. Stay tuned .....

Thanks all, a bit of interior work, not much really, but tried to woodgrain the console, and have the seats painted, floor will get flocking as I progress.

Thanks all. No bed cover for this one. Did a little more interior work, not overly happy with the door panels, engraving is quite light, so only added a chrome strip along the upper portion, also used window cranks from replicas and miniatures.

Masked off the top and engine bay, I hope I burnished the tape down enough to prevent bleed thru.....

i hit the top with dull coat to knock the shine down, but left the engine bay semi gloss, it looks pretty good, will unmask tomorrow and see if my tape job was good enough....., stay tuned, and thanks for looking.

After much thought, I decided to go with steel wheels with poverty caps, wrapped in redline tires, which I robbed out of the revell 68 charger kit, and have the exhaust somewhat sorted out. Need to add some styrene to the front of the pipes to meet the manifolds, but making progress.
