Fairfax Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Hello, everyone. Simple kit. It was building very nicely. I adjusted the inside of the back a little bit, added a cap to the front window, and gave a metal tailpipe. The model is without the final varnish.
Sportabout Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Very nice weathering. It looks like a real car.
PierreR89 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Looks awesome. I like the angle you got on some photos where it looks like the lights are turned on.
James2 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Nicely done model. A little too much rust for my liking, but your technique is superb! Well done
Classicgas Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Well done! You do great at both new and well weathered.
TarheelRick Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Mighty fine weathering, looks well worn.
espo Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Another well weathered looking build. Your photography shows your build well also.
Goose1957 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Great looking Jeep. Really nice weathering job. Jeff
Fairfax Posted September 8, 2019 Author Posted September 8, 2019 Thank you very much to all the guys for the nice sentences. For Pierre: The taillights and blinkers were only pressed in body plastic, so I plastered them with aluminum foil and painted them transparent red and orange. Thank. :-)
stavanzer Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Wow! What a great build. The tires look especially good. They have the grey look of real rubber. Your weathering is Superb, as well. Looks like one of many trucks you see in the deserts in the Southwest USA.
DaveP Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Can you post a photo when you finish it, great work otherwise

Plowboy Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Very nice weathering work! It has quite a realistic look to it.
Fairfax Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Thank you again to everyone for very nice sentences. For Alan: Yes, somehow I imagined it might be a pickup truck used in drier climates, like the desert. :-)
Bucky Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 PERFECT!! These old trucks can look like this in the southeast, too!!
LouO Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Very cool, looks like something I'd see around here at a gas station with a snow plow on it. Great photos too!
