Sport Suburban Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Here is a Torino Twister Special I recently finished!!
TarheelRick Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Oh man yeah! That is a nice duo of Fords. Got to love them.
stinkybritches Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Great build. Love the color. My first car was a yellow 1970 Torino GT with a 351C four barrel.
Peter Lombardo Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Superb builds, they look to be flawless and complement each other perfectly. Nicely done.
espo Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Beautiful looking builds. Very cleanly built and well detailed. I never knew the story behind these marketing packages until I moved to this area 20 years ago. Sort of like the "California Special" Mustangs from that era but for the Kansas Market area.
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Turned mine into one the other day. Same colors too.

Can you imagine if they did the California Special as a earthquake theme!!
SoDak1 Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Exactly like the mustang I saw at Mecum in Kansas City few years back. Beautiful builds both of em

The California Specials were mostly spoilers and side scoops and a side stripe like the Shelby models of the time. I think the base engine was a 289 2 bbl.
