Classicgas Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Nice restoration but not big on the color.
StevenGuthmiller Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I'd love to get my hands on one of these. Nice work Al! Steve

I cannot tell if this is the pale blue or grey. It's a nice build nonetheless. It's a shame MPC did not tool up a nice 429 CJ or SCJ but I suspect the race car had a Boss 429 which was the whole point of putting them in the 69 and 70 Mustangs. The Boss and the 429 CJ and SCJ had such a short life due to the ending of the 60's muscle car wars.
Hmann68 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Nice resto! A seldom seen car but really cool

I was not sure. I've seen at least one real Boss 429 that color. It probably wasn't a big seller. Edited October 23, 2019 by vamach1
