Are the MPC 1978 Dodge trucks at HL?

Has anyone seen the MPC 1978 Dodge truck kits at Hobby Lobby yet?

I believe I saw it there last week when I stopped in. If you don't see it, ask a clerk, they could be out of stock and they might be able to tell you when orders come in.

We don't have Hobby Lobby's here, but I bought mine locally last spring.

I'm sure if your local HL or LHS doesn't have one on the shelf, it could be ordered for you.

Remember that Round 2 underestimated the sales potential of this kit and the first shipment was sold out.  I don't know if they got a second shipment or where they are with it today....   I've never seen this kit at HL

HL "resets" their stock twice a year, usually around September and March.  Round 2 hadn't received the second shipment of Dodge pickup kits until after the last reset, they had none to sell anyone until that second shipment arrived.  HL on rare occasions replaces an existing item midway between resets, but not often.  If they do decide to carry this kit, they probably won't do so until the next reset.

My local Wal-Mart is carrying Round 2 kits for the holidays, and they did have the '78 Dodge trucks for $24.99, which is about what my LHS has them for too.

More than you'd pay at HL with a 40% coupon, but as Mark stated, if HL does end up carrying them, you're not likely to see them for a while.  And there's no guarantee that they will carry it.  There's always certain Round 2 kits that HL chooses not to stock for whatever reason. (some examples are the most recent reissue of the 1960 Ford Starliner, the MPC Squad Rod Nova, and the AMT Pacer wagon)

There has been nothing new at my HL since the Revell 69 Boss Mustang came out, looks like I'm going to have to take all my business online!!

Yeah, I might be to blame for that.....I have several of them just for the wheels and engine.

Not everyone has a LHS. And online merchants often charge a bunch in shipping.

In my case, if I have marginal interest in a subject that I wouldn't be willing to spend full retail, I don't mind buying with a 40% coupon.

I think this is correct answer so far,  and more than likely it won't show up till the reset.
