89AKurt Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Attended a Christmas party, the host loves to decorate for Christmas, this was one of three trees! Had to take a picture of some ornaments, good idea!
espo Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Very ornate looking Christmas Trees. I wonder what the source of the scale cars would be ?

I recognize at least three Halmark Mustangs in the front. I have the Batmobile that plays the tv show theme.
Misha Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 That’s a great looking tree! Rich and bountiful. Wishing you and yours the very best for the Holidays! Merry Christmas, Misha
Mike999 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Some Hallmark tree ornaments are motorcycles that look close to 1/25 scale. They also do a line of ornaments that are antique pedal cars, again close enough to 1/25 scale. I've found quite a few of these at flea markets.

I have all the cars going back to 1991 or so. most of the pickup series also. My aunt used to buy them for me every year, and then my mother-in-law started but it sounds like maybe she didn't get this year's. Maybe I should hit the hallmark store tomorrow just in case....

OldNYJim Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Haha, I just made my own budget version of one of these and then saw this thread...I like those Hallmark ones though! I need to go check out their selection too!
SSNJim Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 (edited) That's a pretty nice safety wire ornament hanger. I like it - it fits with the racing markings. Edited December 18, 2019 by SSNJim

Brian Austin Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I have some random old Hallmark ornaments, along with a few plastic Carlton ones. The Hallmark Lionel train ornaments (two sizes) are fun as well. I have made my own ornaments from Matchbox re-issued early models, ERTL 1:144 diecasts, and two steam locos from Glencoe Models (ex-Ideal). The other Glencoe/Ideal small-scale kits available would make great ornaments as well.
