This one will not be anything fancy. It will be a replica of a truck that my dad drove when I was a kid and I rode a lot of miles in this one too. Standard AMT kit, 8v-71T Detroit. Five hole steel drive wheels. The truck that I'm replicating had 10 hole hubcaps on the front, so I will go with 10 hole wheels. Front bumper, fans, and intake stack from Double Take Replicas. Five hole steel wheels on the trailer too.

I'll be using one of these for the truck.

This Ertl kit for the trailer.

I disagree. Anybody who can pull off 5 kit builds of the same subject by the deadline definitely deserves bonus points. lol

Thanks for all the comments guys! I will have to finish the 7400 first, which it's getting close.

Here front and center. And I thought KJ had a lot of K-123s

I picked up several of them and the 4300 kits when Ollies had them for $19.99. My torsion bar kits are on top and it was just easier since I'm not going to start just yet to take a picture of the stack. I'm going to check with my dad and make sure that his truck didn't have torsion bar, but the plan is to use a Round 2 kit.

Guys I have trouble building one at once, but I hope to build a set of 3 new KWs hooked together for delivery one day.

I don't have any pictures of the KW. I just have pictures of Freightliners and 1 Ford Cl9000. This one will be painted just like the 7400. I do have trailer pictures though.

Jeeze, do you have enough kits?

I keep getting ideas for new projects, then I get the idea that I need the kit for that project and well here we are. I'm afraid that I have more projects planned than I will ever be able to finish though. But I'm glad I'm finally getting to this one.

That’s funny back in the 80s when my brother built his Sunoco one his wife held it with surgical gloves on as he glued it and put the decals on it at that time the Sunoco tanker was very rare I think I gave $100 for it I’ll never forget that story
