cobraman Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Post did not work so let’s try again . This kit fought me so I decided to make it more of a slammer than to spend more time on it . Made it more of a hot rod than a drag truck . Pegasus wheels . Painted White Lightning and DeJa Blue .
gatorincebu Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Ray , That looks good . Slick paint job. Cool color combination ! Looks good from here ! Be Well Gator
Gramps46 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Came out really well and a very interesting subject.
Modlbldr Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Beautiful job. I've been using that White Lightning as a mist coat over some flat colors to pearlize it. Nice to see what the color looks like on its own. Very nice! Later-
espo Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Great looking panel. I agree with everyone else on the colors and I like the signage also. Good color separation between the two colors.
PappyD340 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 That's a fine looking panel truck Ray, I like the color combo!!
bobthehobbyguy Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Great color combo. Looks great. What were the build issues you had?

cobraman Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 Thanks fellows. Bob, my issues with the kit was pretty much the tilt front end. Now I will admit that the problem could very well been me as I have seen others build this kit with the front end working. I found the engine too wide for the front end to clear the valve covers. I could have trimmed the inside of the hood but I was really wanting to move on to something else. Also I could not seem to get the front end to meet with the frame.
crazyjim Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Another one knocked out of the park. keep on Buildin' Ray and make 'em SHINY ???
cobraman Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 Thanks Jim ! I just noticed that I forgot to put the wheel spinners on.
