YBlock292 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 This kit was a originally a 70 1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro. But since I bought this kit second hand, there weren't the correct tires in the box which caused issues, as well as decals to create the typical Baldwin-Motion look were missing. So I decided to create a very mean 454 ci machine ....

Tommy124 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) Hi Ludwig, you created a beautiful beast there! Very nice overall job, the color suits this mean machine perfectly. I like this much better than the typical Baldwin Motion look! Edited March 20, 2020 by Tommy124
YBlock292 Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Thank You, Thomas. I too found the typical Baldwin Motion look kinda boring. So a can of Tamiya TS 94 (dark metallic grey) did the job! Best regards Ludwig
Hmann68 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 One tough looking Camaro ? I also prefer this over the Baldwin treatment. Nice job!
wisco8 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Excellent build and super nice paint job Ludwig !! I had a 1972 Camaro back in the early 80s. I wish I had it today, I really did love that car. I remember having 50s on the back end and I was always doing burnouts, until I got pulled over by the Police, they told me my tires were street illegal, so my burnouts were kinda ended at the time, had fun though. Best regards, Steve
Snake45 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Very nice, very clean build! Well done and model on!
LouO Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Super clean build - love it! Great job! I think I might have to build myself a set of those scale ramps, that's an excellent way to show off the rear area for photo shoots - great idea !
espo Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 This is a beautifully done Camaro. Like so many others, I always thought the Baldwin stripes were a little much. Besides the yellow Slapper Bars on the Differential the Side Piper, AKA Weed Sprayers, look perfect on this.
