GLMFAA1 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) I displayed this in the 'Scale firehouse' web site several years ago and though this might be a good time to show it here. Squad ten was in the pilot movie for the TV show Emergency with its famous squad 51. With some help from Charlie Rowley I acquired a Dodge cab. First the research of taking vid pics from the movie when it was on YouTube. Then the plans needed to drawn to scale: Then assembly: Finally getting to 'ice the cake' Obtaining Randy Mantooth's autograph on the model Edited April 11, 2020 by GLMFAA1 edit 2
espo Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 This sure looks like the truck on the TV screen. A lot of scratch building and I like how you even got the Utility Bed Doors done.
Goose1957 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Wow, great rendition of the original truck. And to get it autographed also. Too cool. Great job on that build. Jeff
Jim B Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Nice job, Greg. I think I remember seeing this over at The Scale Firehouse.
tomsheehy Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Very nice Greg, glad to see you're still at it too.
stavanzer Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Awesome. Mr. Mantooth used shot pool in a bar that my wife father hung out at.
rekcirb13 Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 Greg, you did an outstanding job with this build! Looks just like the one in the "EMERGENCY" TV pilot. Bob
