BeakDoc Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 AMT kit. I wired the distributor, added battery cables and dug out some parts box whitewalls. Other than that, she’s box stock. Went together decent enough, a few minor fit issues aside. Paint is Tamiya TS-3 Dark Yellow w/ a few coats of MM Ultra-gloss on top. Trim is BMF. All questions, comments, tips and pointers welcome. Thanks for looking.
wayneman Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Looks awesome. This is from when cars had character! Great job.
NOBLNG Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I like it! That colour would definitely suit the time period I believe.
David G. Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Nicely done! Great color choice, it just looks right on that car. David G.
Lunajammer Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Beautiful and clean. The wheels and interior look so sharp.
stavanzer Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 To echo what David G and NOBLNG said, the colour you chose is very Period Correct. Makes a beautiful model, just as it is.
Eric Macleod Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 I like this a lot. I once had a '50 Buick Jetback that was this same bodystyle. These are great looking cars and your model captures the look beautifully. Nicely done.
Adecoste Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 That looks great! I like the color combo you used.
geetee66 Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Very nice indeed! Crisp and clean build. I now have this kit on my wish list.
