I attempted this back in 1965 and it didn't come out very good, 55 years later I got it done.  Lindberg kit, engine wired and plumbed.  Added details- master cylinder, windshield washer bag, distributor, lower ride height.  Refinished in PPG lacquer with Transtar clear.

Very nice build and cool to see it is not the usual white.  When Ford did the Mach III Mustang in 1993 everyone saw the red one but they also did one in bright metallic green.  I believe the red one was destroyed in a fire and the green one is in Ford's possession.  I have seen the original Mustang II in person and it shows it's age but isn't' in bad shape for a 55+ year old car that to me is just as important or not more so than Mustang VIN001 that Ford bought back and has displayed at anniversary shows.

Beautifully done !  I think we all tried to build this waaaay back when with so-so results , looks like the second time around was the charm ! :D
