iamsuperdan Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I'm confused too, and I was part of the discussions to make the changes! lolz We'll get used to it. Ultimately, I think it's organized better now.
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 The only thing that I miss is the ability to edit posts after a couple of days! But that's another issue. Steve

NYLIBUD Posted May 27, 2020 Author Posted May 27, 2020 Yea yea, can’t just leave things alone the way they are.WIP,everything was WIP,except the under glass forum. But one good thing is,there are a lot more to look at.
cobraman Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 At first I did not care for it. Not a big fan of change normally. But I am finally getting more comfortable with it. It's like when they update my iphone and then they have to make a fix to fix the update. As my daddy used to say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it ! " ?
Tom Geiger Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 If there was no change, there would be no Internet and we’d still be looking a little black and white photos in pulp magazines!
DrKerry Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 It does seem a bit disjointed to me too. But like said we'll get used to it...
Rob Hall Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I don't really notice the changes much since when I do visit the site I use the 'Unread Content' link rather than look in individual forums.

I guess in a few years the content will be beamed directly into our brains via the 9G network (along with all kinds of other things). With any luck I'll be dead by then.

plastic trucker Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 It seems like they're trying to get away from trucks. Even in the modeling magazines the truck sections were eliminated.

I'm not a truck guy and I agree - I see the same thing. Truck topics get drowned out by all that the silly chatter in the General section. It is really too bad. I used to visit the Truck section in the old forum, just to see what was going on. The traffic there was light, but it was interesting.

stavanzer Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Where do I get a model of a Container Ship? Revell to the rescue! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X9VTRDN?tag=duckduckgo-d-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1
